Ms. Deskin oversees Preston Hollow Community Capital’s accounting, financial reporting and treasury functions, providing support in corporate acquisition and capital raising efforts.

Before joining PHC, Ms. Deskin was Vice President – Finance with SWK Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: SWKH), a specialized finance company which provides capital solutions to a broad range of life science companies. There, she was principally focused on the company’s financial and SEC reporting. Prior to joining SWK Holdings Corporation, she served as controller for a Dallas-based, diversified financial services firm for over eight years. In that role, Ms. Deskin was responsible for the accounting and consolidated financial reporting of the company’s lines of business, with substantial involvement in the treasury, human resources and credit review functions. During her time with this firm, Ms. Deskin was involved in the relocation of the U.S. operations from New York to Dallas, the sale of its master servicing platform to Key Bank and the acquisition of Houlihan Lokey.

Before entering the private sector, Ms. Deskin was a manager in KPMG’s audit practice with both public and private clients primarily in the banking, healthcare and telecommunications industries. She is a graduate of the University of Texas with a BBA in Accounting.
