Max Pickle

Max Pickle joined Preston Hollow Community Capital in August 2015 as Director of Human Resources, overseeing the firm’s human resources operations and advising the firm’s leadership on a variety of employment-related matters, including recruiting, compensation, benefits, training and development. We all knew Max as a generous and genuine colleague at PHCC, with many of us having the pleasure of working with Max previously at a Dallas-based diversified financial services firm, where he served as the Recruiting Manager and led talent acquisition for the Private Equity, Commercial Real Estate, Municipal Finance and Leveraged Finance business units.  Previous to that, Max helped found and lead a personnel search firm focused on retained and contingency recruiting roles in finance, engineering and medicine.

Max had a wonderful sense of humor and was rarely without a smile and an upbeat attitude.  He welcomed all new employees and worked hard to ensure they transitioned smoothly and felt at home.

Max’s priority in life was his beautiful family.  He was also an enthusiastic supporter of his beloved Texas Tech University, from which he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and was a member of its Society of Human Resource Management.
