Greg May joined Preston Hollow Community Capital in September 2014 as Managing Director of Corporate Development. Greg’s responsibilities include sourcing, evaluating and executing strategic acquisitions and investments for the firm.
Mr. May previously served as Deputy General Counsel for a diversified, Dallas-based financial services firm, where he provided a broad range of legal, transactional and governance support to the firm’s various business lines in the investment banking, asset management, real estate finance and life sciences sectors. Before joining the firm in 2003, Mr. May was an equity shareholder in one of Dallas’ top law firms.
Mr. May received his B.B.A. degree in accounting from Baylor University and his J.D. degree from Baylor University School of Law, where he graduated cum laude and ranked first in his graduating class.
Mr. May is active in a number of civic and charitable pursuits. He was named Nonprofit Board Leader of the Year for 2015 by the Center for Nonprofit Management (CNMConnect) for his service as Board Chair for Dallas CASA, a non-profit organization of volunteers who are voices for abused children during court processes. Mr. May was a founding Director of the ORIX Foundation, and he has previously served on the board and as general counsel of The Family Place, the Dallas area’s largest family violence service provider.
